8F- Today we started the movie ``The Road to El Dorado`` We were cut short due to our Lock-down drill. The 8F students had been informed of the importance to keep silent during the drill. Unfortunately even with reminders the students could not take it seriously. As a result we will no longer be watching the film. After the Lock-Down was finished, students were given the Chapter 9 review booklet and were asked to start reviewing for the test on Wednesday April 29th 2015. We will continue this review on Monday.

8E- Today I handed out the Japanese Cultural Center Forms, they are due back on April 28th 2015. The option to pay online is available and highly recommended. This morning we started reviewing the worksheets that we had been working on last week. We will be continuing, this afternoon.

Students have been encouraged to ask questions after each section of notes during class. They have also been advised that if they are uncomfortable asking questions during class that I am always available to them upon request for extra explanation after class, at lunch or after school ( with advanced notice). After our discussion we continued reviewing. Tomorrow we will be doing a review activity that requires students to have pens or pencils of different colors.

Students need to have the little booklet that we have been working on finished for Monday....most students only have 3-4 questions left. Monde en March is due on Tuesday. High School Registration forms are due back in the office next week, get them in ASAP.

We have discussed Lord Durhams report, the Union Act and will be discussing the AANB and the creation of the Dominion of Canada. Monde en March is due on Tuesday. Chapter 7 test will be next Thursday.
7F- We have started chapter 7- A new country. This chapter is quite short and will be finished quickly.
